Former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly rejected the Denmark job as he is currently negotiating with a ‘major club’.

Since then, he has been links to several positions, but he has been waiting for "the right job with the right people". The 51-year-old also revealed earlier this year that he would be ready to manage the Norwegian national team.

According to Danish publication Tipsbladet, Solskjaer received an offer from Denmark — rivals of his native Norway — to take over from Kasper Hjulmand, who resigned from his position in the summer. However, a source claims that the Red Devils legend turned down additional discussions since he is currently in talks to become the head coach of a "major club".
After a terrible start to the new season, Erik ten Hag is currently the subject of severe scrutiny at Manchester United. Solskjaer has already stated that he would be prepared to return to Old Trafford if the Red Devils were to approach him to take charge.
It still remains unclear as to which club is currently targeting Solskjaer to take over as their head coach. The story should begin unravelling over the next few weeks.
